In Portugal, the company has been involved in landmark projects that shaped the country’s development, such as the execution of sections of the Lisbon Metro, the construction of large-scale residential and commercial buildings, as well as the participation in the construction of Portugal’s largest bridge — the Vasco da Gama Bridge — where it was responsible for concrete production management in both onshore and offshore areas.
The company also took part in joint ventures responsible for the development of new urban zones in Lisbon, with 16-storey buildings, in addition to the construction of educational facilities (secondary schools in Setúbal and Barreiro) and the execution of advanced technical infrastructures, such as diaphragm walls and special foundations for high-rise buildings.
